In the know
- Our favourite rooms
- We love the two Oriental Suites for their Japanese styling, extra space, double showers and decadent SOK overflow spa baths; they even have a little rooftop garden with views of the harbour and Mount Wellington. Room 14 is in a quieter part of the hotel and is the old wood-panelled office of Henry Jones himself; you have to hunt for the bathroom, hidden away in the bank vault. All Deluxe Spa rooms have signature glass-pod bathrooms.
- Packing tips
- Deck shoes for day trips on the water, art gallery black for dinner and drinks.
- Also
- Don't miss the Henry Jones History and Art Tour to really get to grips with the hotel's unique mix of bold architectural conversion and praiseworthy artistic engagement. You can even buy the art off the wall, so be sure to carry – or lock away – your wallet, depending on your budget.
