Costa De La Luz Overview
Spain
- Coastline
- Windswept waves
- Coast life
- Dolphins and surfers
On the Costa de la Luz the blue skies and pristine beaches stretch on almost endlessly, and Atlantic breakers crash against a wild and windswept shore.
Surfers have long been flocking to this coast at the southern tip of Europe, where sun, sand and big waves combine to perfection. Beyond the sublime solitude of the Costa lies a quintessentially Spanish land: the home of fiery flamenco; the breeding farms of fighting bulls destined for the sand of the arena; unspoilt sugar-white villages in which to while away the day with tapas and sweet sherry. The Costa de la Luz is slowly giving up its secrets, but even in high summer, you may still have just the seagulls to share the beach with.
