Hotel restaurant
The airy beachfront Clubhouse is simply furnished by Antonio 'Budji' Layug with grey rattan chairs, teak tables and a gourmet kitchen. Slide back the glass doors and let the sea breeze waft in as you graze upon a menu concocted by ex-Necker Island chefs Graham Brundle and Reuben Kimber. Using local and homegrown organic produce, including fresh seafood, they can cater for any diet. The smaller Pool Room has its own bar and is a more intimate spot for lunch or dinner.

- Top table With five kitchens, you can choose where to dine: on the beach, lawn, the Clubhouse main suite or your room.
- Last orders YL's restaurant mainly sees action from 7am–11pm, but you can arrange meal times to suit your needs or order late-night snacks. The well-stocked bar closes when you decide it should.

Our favourite rooms
When you book, the luxe YL Suite comes as standard (if arriving with friends, put dibs on it early.) With its sumptuous four-poster, separate living room and Smeg kitchen, it’s the grandest room. Wherever you sleep, though, the all-white, indoor–outdoor beach-house design and pared-down style will invoke calm, with a contemporary mix of natural rattan, seagrass and reclaimed teak. Revel in the delectable oval bath tubs.
Packing tips
It’s a bit of a schlep to the nearest town, so pack plenty of books, magazines and your preferred brand of sunscreen. That said, if you run out, just send someone out to get you some more.
Also
Before you arrive, you will be sent a list of questions that covers everything from your favourite foods and flowers to the activities you’d like to have a crack at during your stay. Remember: it’s all about you.
