An overwater wedding in the middle of the jungle is just one of the possibilities at Ubud Hanging Gardens, where a platform can be erected above the infinity pool for ceremonies.
Need to know
The happy couple will have a wedding assistant to help with all the day’s planning. As well as the over-pool ceremony, there are many other suitable sites on the property, including the grounds of a villa for a private affair or at the café down in the valley overlooking the river. You can have a Balinese-style ceremony, a small commitment ceremony or the full palaver complete with minister. The assistant can help organise a cake, photographer and flowers, as well as coordinate the post-wedding feast with the chef and restaurant staff. The hotel can accommodate up to 40 guests at a time, although 10 extra guests, staying at other locations, can also attend the party.
