Our favourite rooms
Room 6 is perfect for families, since there’s a set of bunks in the corner; grown-ups will appreciate the super-king-size bed, the roomy walk-in shower and the vaulted ceilings. Anyone with a fear of public nudity should probably avoid rooms 2 and 3, since their private bathrooms are a short dash away, across the corridor.
Packing tips
Blend in with the locals by bringing a boat-load of Barbour, Dubarry and Le Chameau wares.
Also
There’s a ramp up to the main communal areas, but no specially adapted rooms for wheelchair users.
Pet‐friendly
Pooches are very welcome – they can stay in any room for £10 a stay. See more pet-friendly hotels in Somerset.
Children
All ages are welcome. Extra beds can be added for no charge, but not all rooms are big enough. There’s one family room that has two bunk beds that can be used for £50 (including breakfast). There's a children’s menu, and highchairs are available.
