This two-bedroom suite reflects the decadent style of hotel owner Alan Faena and the outré design of Philippe Starck. It looks like the residence of a well-travelled eccentric, with its huge chandeliers and candelabra, chairs with gilded-swan armrests, door disguised as a bookshelf and rose-emblazoned rugs. There’s a library of books, local artworks, Peruvian-style pom-poms and tassels and a fireplace. One bedroom has a king-size bed, the other twins, there’s a full kitchen and two marble bathrooms: one with a bath tub big enough for two and a walk-in rain shower, and you can admire panoramic views of the Faena Art District and Puerto Madero. Plus, you’ll have two 42-inch flatscreen TVs, a DVD player, iPod dock, minibar, and Organ & Co. bath products.
