The colourful coast

The art-filled interiors of Casa Das Artes in Bahia are a kaleidoscope of colours almost as dazzling as the Brazilian sun. With azure-blue ceiling beams, banana-yellow hallway and bright green bathroom, bold is beautiful here. The villa is filled with unique artworks by famous modern artists such as Marcelo Cipis, Pato Rammsy and Marta Milanetti, vintage tapestries by Kennedy Bahia and one-of-a-kind furnishings – we particularly like the bondage-esque armchair and gnarled-wood coffee table in the pastel pink and green living room. The colour carries outside to the lush, foliage-filled garden, complete with a four-person hot tub, outdoor shower and alfresco roll-top tub – bath time just got balmier.
