Floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural light and sea views, while bold modern art livens up the clean white interiors. Outside, there’s an alfresco dining terrace, sprawling green lawns (with a trampoline for energetic little Smiths), and an infinity pool that looks out to sea. Bali beds – those outdoor platformed day beds that appear in your beachiest dreams – are liberally dotted around the gardens, there’s a hillside trail behind the villa, and the areas best beach clubs are only a short drive away.

  • Inside, the open-plan villa is flooded with natural light and the white walls are accented with brightly coloured modern art by RA Superstar. The lounge area has two L-shaped sofas, a TV, and an adjacent kid-friendly space with a craft table and games.
  • There’s a round six-seater dining table is set between the kitchen and the living area.

  • Hillside Can Jondal is set above a small collection of houses, so although you’ll have neighbours, you’ll have tree-shaded privacy too.
  • Can Jondal is close to the popular beaches of Es Torrent, Cala Jondal and Porroig; the nearest beaches are pebbly, but a five minute’s drive will have you at the sandy beach of Blue Marlin beach club, where you’ll find a buzzy cafe with a lunchtime DJ.
  • The airport is 15 minutes away by car.
  • The nearest town is Es Cubells.
