  • There are 14 suites dotted across this four-acre palm-lined property, all designed with deep earthy tones and natural wood, vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams and neutrally-hued furnishings.
  • There are eight 112 square-metre Ocean View Suites, each with a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with twin sinks, a freestanding bath tub and a separate shower. There’s also a furnished terrace and an outdoor shower in the suite’s courtyard garden. Six of the Ocean View Suites are standalone, and the other two are situated within a casita that shares a living room and kitchenette with two Junior Suites and an upstairs Bay View Suite.
  • The two 38 square-metre Ocean View Junior Suites are located in the casitas, each with a private terrace overlooking the ocean, a king-size bed or twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.
  • There are also two 28 square-metre Garden View Junior Suites in the casitas. Each of these open onto a private courtyard balcony and have either a king-size bed or twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.
  • The two 65 square-metre Bay View Suites are located on the top floor of each casita with private terraces, one overlooks La Piscina Natural and the other has views of El Hoyo Bay. Both suites have a king-size bed, a spacious ensuite bathroom with twin sinks, a freestanding bath tub and a separate rain shower, as well as access to the casita’s shared living room and kitchenette.
  • All Ocean View and Bay View suites can be made up with twin beds instead of a king-size bed.

Poolside

  • There are two large fresh-water infinity pools overlooking the bay. Villa Amber’s pool has a manmade white-sand beach.
  • Both pools have a shallow area to accommodate unique in-pool dining and lounging.

  • There are steps down to El Hoyo Bay from Villa Amber for swimming and watersports as well as swings and slides for little Smiths.

  • Set 90 minutes from Puerto Plata and Samana airports, just over two hours from Santiago airport and around three hours from Santo Domingo airport; Ani can organise transfers from each of these airports (one a group).
