Harriet Whiting
Circumnavigating scribe
Harriet learned to love travelling the hard way, eight months in Africa at 18 years old, picking up the travel bug – and malaria. Since then, she has embraced backpacking in Central America, South East Asia, Indonesia, Australia and her favourite, Sri Lanka, India. From sandy-floored huts with crabs for companions, Harriet has gradually upgraded with help from her hotel, spa and restaurant reviews for The Times and Time Out and has been lucky enough to stay in some of the finest hotels in the world. Embarking on a year long world wide trip, Harriet hopes to fill in the gaps and report back...
