Scandi-Mediterranean mish-mash

Sultry Santa Eulalia

Perched on a verdant hilltop with views of the Ibizan countryside, luxury villa Can Telmo is a dreamy modern-Med stay, with white walls, a glittering pool and more than an acre of lush, flower-packed gardens. The slick, Scandi-inspired interiors are fit for a rockstar – and there’s room for your whole entourage. If you’re looking for a spot to park your family (rather than your hangers-on), Can Telmo has ample room for both little Smiths and their parents. The villa’s just a five-minute drive from pretty Santa Eulalia too, where there are artisan shops, beaches and restaurants to explore.

First Glance

  • Set on an incredible one-and-a-half acres of private land, Can Telmo is comprised of a main house and a guesthouse, perched on hill just outside Santa Eulalia.
  • The main villa is set over one floor, and its design is modern and minimalist. In the large living room, a white corner sofa and a rattan chaise-longue are grouped around a coffee table and a fireplace; bright red cushions add a splash of colour. There’s also a round wooden dining table that seats four people.
  • The open-plan kitchen is part of the living room. It’s well-equipped with modern appliances, including a fridge, freezer, five-ring hob and electric oven; there’s also a breakfast bar with three stools.
  • The guesthouse is a modern, cube-like structure set over two floors. The living room is open plan, with two armchairs arranged around a fireplace.
  • The guest house dining area is in the conservatory, and has the glass walls that fold out, making it seem as if you're dining alfresco.
  • Each house also has a laundry room. The main villa’s is next to the kitchen and has a washing machine, a dryer and a sink; the guesthouse has two washing machines and a dryer on the ground floor.

  • Most international carriers fly to Ibiza Airport, from which it’s a 25-minute drive to Can Telmo
  • The closest beach is at Santa Eulalia, where you’ll find a stretch of golden sand just beside the promenade, in easy reach of the shops and bars. For something a little quieter, head to the south of town, where Mariner’s Beach has a more laid-back atmosphere.
  • It may be famous for its party scene, but Ibiza also has a rich cultural history. Wander the picturesque streets of Ibiza Old Town (15 minutes by car from Can Telmo), where the fortified citadel of Dalt Vila still stands tall. The port is home to a clutch of independent restaurants serving seafood that’s always just-caught fresh.
