Deposit Policy

Wild Coast Tented Lodge requires a deposit of 30% of the booking total, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due prior to arrival. For stays from 1 May 2022 to 19 December 2022, full payment is due five days before arrival. For stays from 20 December 2022 to 10 January 2023, a 30 per cent non-refundable deposit is taken upon booking; the remainder is due 60 days before arrival. For stays from 11 January 2023 to 30 April 2023, a 30 per cent deposit is taken upon booking; the remainder is due 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

For stays from 1 May 2022 to 19 December 2022 cancellations or amendments are free when made five days before arrival; those made later will be charged in full plus tax. For stays from 20 December 2022 to 10 January 2023 cancellations or amendments made within 30 days of arrival will be charged in full plus tax. For stays from 11 January 2023 to 30 April 2023, cancellations made 30 to 14 days before arrival will be charged for 30 per cent of the total stay; those made within 14 days of arrival will be charged in full. At all times no-shows and early departures will be charged in full.

Inspired by the egg-shaped boulders scattered around the lodge, these 55sq m tented suites have thick canvas walls, vaulted ceilings, teak-framed windows and a decked area looking out over the bushland. Arranged in clusters of four, the cocoons are grouped around watering holes, attracting an abundance of wildlife for you to admire from the comfort of your deck. Inside, the tents recall the golden age of travel and exploration, featuring teak floors, leather-backed chairs, writing desks and king-size four poster beds. Each has a freestanding copper bath tub, a walk-in shower with a rainfall head, and twin sinks. There’s also free WiFi; a minibar; Sonos sound system; air-conditioning; coffee machine; tea-making facilities; free bottled water; and Ophir bath products. For stays at the Wild Coast Lodge between 16 July 2022 and 19 December 2022, an additional charge of US$138 is required per child per day. Stays between 20 December 2022 to 30 April 2023 require an additional cost of US$155 per child per day.
