The owners of the hotel use this as their seafront holiday home, but you can also experience the charming Arts and Crafts architecture, the prime ocean views and your own private hot tub. It’s named after the ‘drumming’ sound the surrounding blowholes in the rocks make, and it can be booked when the owners aren’t in residence. Plentiful foliage, use of timber and eye-catching prints make it a stylish stay, and there are four bedrooms for up to 10 guests: one with a king-size bed, two with queen-size beds and a bunk room with bunk beds and a queen-size bed. There are four bathrooms too, each with twin sinks and a walk-in shower. There’s also a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and TV, and a full kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, coffee machine and grill. And you’ll have ample opportunities to be outdoors, with a furnished ocean-facing deck with a barbecue and a private garden. Guests will have access to Redwood House’s sauna and games room, and you’ll have free WiFi, a radio, bathrobes, desk, free bottled water, tea- and coffee-making kit and Red Flower bath products.
