Deposit Policy

Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel requires a deposit of 50% of the booking total, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due prior to arrival. 50% deposit is required when booking of which 10 per cent is non-refundable. The remainder is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made from 60 to 31 days before arrival will be charged for 25 per cent of the total stay; those made within 30 days of arrival will be charged in full. The policy for group bookings of five suites or more is the same as sister properties Madikwe Safari Lodge and Marataba Mountain Lodge: cancellations made 61 days or more before arrival will be charged 10 per cent of the total stay; those made from 60 to 46 days before arrival will be charged 50 per cent of the total stay; those made within 45 days of arrival will be charged in full.

Set amid peaceful gardens, each with its own viewing deck (some more private than others, and some with clearer watering-hole views), these 70sq m suites evoke the Victorian explorer style the hotel name nods too (with antique maps, books and such), but with a fresh design take for modern travellers. Each has bespoke wallpapers, a canopied king-size bed, metro-tiled bathroom with a slipper bath tub and a walk-in shower, and an area to lounge in. Each suite has a minibar, tea and coffee kit, Africology bath products, mosquito net and air-conditioning. And, if travelling with little Smiths, several of the suites can interconnect to form a two-bedroom suite, one with a king-size bed, another set up for three guests, where toys, games, books, dinky robes and slippers and some surprises will be added.
