Deposit Policy

Lapa Rios Lodge requires a deposit of 100% of the booking total, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. When payment is due, a link will be sent to you by email from the hotel, which must be processed within 48 hours. For stays from 1 May to 14 July 2022, 16 August to 20 November 2022, 1 May to 14 July 2023, and 16 August to 20 November 2023, full payment will be taken 14 days before arrival. For stays from 15 July to 15 August 2022, 21 November to 21 December 2022, 6 January to 30 April 2022, 15 July to 15 August 2023, and 21 November to 21 December 2023, full payment will be taken 44 days before arrival. For stays from 22 December 2022 to 5 January 2023 and 22 December 2023 to 5 January 2024, full payment will be taken 90 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

For stays during the Green Season 2023 (August 16- November 18, 2023, November 27-30, 2023): Cancellations and changes received 15 days or less prior to arrival will be fully penalized. For stays during Thanksgiving 2023 (November 19th - 26th, 2023): Cancellations and changes received 30 days or less prior to arrival will be fully penalized. Christmas Season 2023 (December 22nd, 2023 - January 5th, 2024): a 20% non-refundable deposit will be requested to secure Holiday reservations. Cancellations and changes received 90 days or less prior to arrival will be fully penalized. For stays during High Season 2024 (January 4th – April 30th, 2024, July 15th – August 15th, 2024, December 1st - 21st, 2024): Cancellations and changes received 45 days or less prior to arrival will be fully penalized. For stays during Green Season 2024 (May 1st - July 14th, 2024, August 16th - November 23rd, 2024): Cancellations and changes received 15 days or less prior to arrival will be fully penalized. For stays during Thanksgiving week 2024 (November 24th – December 1st, 2024): Cancellations and changes received 30 days or less prior to arrival will be fully penalized. For stays Christmas Season 2024 (December 22nd, 2023 - January 3rd, 2025): a 20% non-refundable deposit will be requested to secure Holiday reservations. Cancellations and changes received 90 days or less prior to arrival will be fully penalized.
