Our favourite rooms
All the rooms have the same curvy, cave-like appeal, with shades of grey, bright white and stoney hues. For a terrace treat, book a Junior Suite with a Full Sea View & Outdoor Hot Tub, which has plenty of alfresco space and an Aegean-facing advantage (remember: the higher your room, the better the view). Party poopers should request a room furthest from the neighbouring beach club.
There’s a petite heated pool by the restaurant. It’s better suited to cooling off than for hardcore lengths, but you’ve also got the Aegean on your doorstep (and potentially a private pool on your terrace).
The Kenshō Beach Spa is (you’ve guessed it) on the beach and it takes its marine theme very seriously: there’s a ‘spa water pod’ and a treatment that harnesses the metabolism-boosting properties of sand – you won’t need a whale-song soundtrack to feel in touch with the sea at this spa. Other treatments employ the powers of fabulous French brand Codage, and smoothies and healthy snacks – avocado dip and kale chips, anyone? – will perk you up out of your post-pampering stupor.
Don kaftans, kimonos and cover-ups for poolside posing; bring sensible shoes for the cobblestone staircases.
The communal areas are wheelchair accessible, but there aren’t any specially adapted rooms.
Children under two stay free; after that, it’s €100 a night, but the maximum occupancy of all rooms is two guests. Babysitting can be arranged in advance.
