A 40sq m bedroom, and the only one on the second floor, Maple has a kingsize bed that can be curtained off from the rest of the room to create a tent-like atmosphere (in a good way). The TV rotates to face either the bed or the lounge area, where there’s a large red corner sofa and a Fatboy beanbag, and a mid-century modern desk is positioned beside the window, to take advantage of the rolling rural views. The ensuite is home to a freestanding bath and walk-in shower, and there’s also a tablet computer, digital radio and a Nespresso machine.

A cosy 40sqm country-cottage-style room on the first floor, Willow is characterised by Nina Campbell’s intricate floral-pattern wallpaper and its classic wrought-iron bed. The metro-tiled ensuite has a bathroom with a shower and a roll-top tub by the garden-view window. Willow has a dressing table, a sofa, and a satellite TV, tablet computer, digital radio and Nespresso machine.

Up on the Manor’s first floor, Birch is a 50sq m room with a kingsize bed and knockout views over the gardens and on to the Vale of Evesham beyond. As well as a sofa and dressing table, there’s a cosy nook by the window, lit by a giant Anglepoise, that’s ideal for reading or gawping at the landscape. Birch’s blue-hued bathroom has both a shower and a freestanding roll-top tub. Like all the Manor’s rooms, it includes a satellite TV, tablet computer, digital radio and Nespresso machine.

This big bedroom on the ground floor is Foxhill’s best option for guests with mobility restrictions (or indeed anyone who values their bathroom space). Decorated in soft blues, the room has a buttonback-headed kingsize bed that can be converted to two singles, a dressing area, and a separate seating area with a sofa, Patricia Urquoia Comback chair and footrest. A walk-through wardrobe area leads into the (frankly enormous) ensuite, which has a free-standing roll-top tub sitting at the centre, along with two sinks, a walk-in shower and a long window seat. Juniper also has a satellite TV, tablet computer, digital radio and Nespresso machine.

At 70sq m, Chestnut is one of the biggest bedrooms in the house, with windows on three walls ensuring it’s light throughout the day. A short entranceway leads into the main bedroom, home to a four-poster bed and a chicly curvaceous chaise longue. One wall is hand-painted with a tree pattern, and there’s also a dressing area and a dining table with space for four people. There’s a free-standing tub in the bathroom, plus a spacious walk-in shower. Chestnut also has a satellite TV, tablet computer, digital radio and Nespresso machine.

Set at the front of the building, the 65sq m Beech suite is a relaxed and minimalist suite, with a big bedroom overlooking the garden and a cosy mustard-accented lounge set behind it. There are satellite TVs in both rooms, plus a tablet computer, digital radio and Nespresso. Accessed through the hallway, the bathroom has both a claw-foot tub and a walk-in shower.

Comprising a bedroom and a separate, Danish-style living room with a sofa-bed, the 75sq m Hazel suite is the Manor’s best option for families or couples who appreciate space to spread out. At the end of a hallway, the classic-style bedroom has a kingsize bed facing the window, overlooking the Vale of Evesham, and a dressing table. The bathroom has a claw-foot tub, walk-in shower, and there’s a satellite TV in the lounge, a tablet computer, digital radio and Nespresso machine.

Spread over 70sq m of the ground floor, the Oak suite is the Manor’s go-to boudoir for wedding nights, honeymoons and other romantic occasions – likely because of the twinset of free-standing tubs beside the bay window. The bed is a modern wooden four-poster affair, sharing the space with a fireside lounge area (the fireplace is the Manor’s original), a pair of Bruno Mathsson’s ‘Jetson’ recliners and a dining table for four. The ensuite holds a walk-in shower, and Oak also includes a satellite TV, tablet computer, Ruark digital radio and a Nespresso machine.
