Room 3 is in the White House; its master bedroom is set in a loft with exposed wooden beams, and an ensuite with a bath tub. Room 4 is in the White House’s former summer kitchen; it has a snug living area, brick furnace, ensuite with a walk-in shower, direct access to the garden and beautiful rural views. Room 5, in the Red House, has views of the fortified church, and an ensuite with exposed beams and a walk-in shower – keep an eye out for the 18th-century graffiti.

Room 6, in the Red House, has direct access to the veranda and garden, and beautiful bronze showers imported from Italy; ask the owners to point out the secret passage that once connected it to the church nearby.

One of Copsamare’s most private rooms, this big suite consists of a large double bedroom with an ensuite shower and walk-in closet, as well as a snug living room with a traditional Transylvanian fireplace. It opens onto a private verandah overlooking the hills and has direct access to the garden.
