Deposit Policy

Caldera House requires a deposit of 20% of the booking total, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due prior to arrival. For stays on the flexible policy between 6 January to 9 April 2023 and 1 June to 10 October 2023, a 20% deposit is required at the time of booking with the remaining balance due 21 days before arrival. For stays during the festive season, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the remaining balance due 21 days before arrival. Any refunds re subject to a 3.5% transaction fee.

Cancellation Policy

For stays on the flexible policy between 6 January to 9 April 2023 and 1 June to 10 October 2023, cancellations made more than 21 days before arrival will be refunded the 20% deposit (with the exception of a 3.5% transaction fee). Cancellations made within 21 days of arrival will be charged for the stay in full. For stays during the festive season, cancellations made more than 21 days before arrival will be charged 20% of the total stay; those made later will be charged in full.

Two Bedroom Suite

There are four of these 139sq m suites, each different in design but united by the hotel's signature aesthetic, which was inspired by American craftsmanship and the glamour of Alpine hotels. Each suite has a stylish living and dining area, with designer lounge furniture, a dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen with top-of-the-range appliances. There are two bedrooms in each suite, each with a king-size bed, large windows (some with slopeside or valley views), and an ensuite bathroom. These suites can accommodate two additional guests (for a total of six people) thanks to a queen-size sofa bed in the living room that can be set up by housekeeping at night and put away every morning. All of the master bedrooms have freestanding bath tubs and walk-in showers; each guest bedroom has a bath tub with an over-bath shower. All of the Two-Bedroom Suites also have free WiFi; a flatscreen TV in the living room; an iPad-controlled sound system; minibar; Nespresso coffee machine; kettle and tea; working fireplace and Le Labo bath products.

This 465sq m four-bedroom suite is on the top floor of the hotel, giving it high ceilings and sweeping views of Rendezvous Mountain from the living area. The heart of the suite is an open-plan living space, half of which is given over to a stylish lounge with vast windows that lead out to a private terrace, where there’s a firepit and alfresco dining area. On the other side of the rooms is the kitchen and dining area, a dark-hued and industrial styled space that can easily host a dinner for 10. wo of the bedrooms have a king-size bed, the third has twins and the fourth has two bunk beds. Each has a spacious ensuite bathroom with a bath tub and shower (the master bedroom has a freestanding roll-top bath tub and a dual rainfall shower and a steam room). Valles also has a Jacuzzi; free WiFi; a flatscreen TV in the living room; an iPad-controlled sound system; minibar; Nespresso coffee machine; kettle and tea; working fireplace and Le Labo bath products. The suite can sleep up to 10 with the use of sofa beds.

The suite is centred around a grand living area with a vaulted ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows, ochre and henna-red furniture and a wood-burning stove. The open-plan kitchen has dark-wood cabinetry, a marble-topped counter and a dining table lit by a sculptural lamp. Three of the bedrooms have a king-size bed, the last has three sets of bunk beds. All four have ensuite bathrooms with a bath tub and shower (the master bedroom has a freestanding Boffi bath tub.
