Set at the penthouse level of the hotel, in the centre of Stockholm, these 24 to 30sq m rooms have bird’s eye city views, which can be enjoyed from a private balcony overlooking Berzelii Park and Nybroviken. Marlene Dietrich Secret Loge with Park View
This 25sq m hideaway’s namesake songstrel, actress and all-around legend performed at the hotel in 1963 and stayed right here after her concert. It’s romantically dressed, with a replica Dietrich outfit, powder-puff-pink-velvet furnishings, white drapes and trompe-l'œil wallpaper with a library print. A star-shaped window overlooks Berzelii Park, there’s a comfortable queen-size bed and the bathroom has a walk-in shower. This unique 64sq m suite is part of the space founder Robert Berns and his family lived in the late 1800s; it has original period features, including a tiled stove, and vintage-meets-mod furnishings (courtesy of designer Franz Hardinger) and decor in the large living room, which has a dining table, writing desk and cosy sofas. There are a range of unique artworks hanging on the walls too. In the bedroom, there’s a king-size bed, a seating area and a writing desk. The ensuite bathroom has twin sinks and a bath tub.
