The Camden beat: poets and punks

Weave through 150 years of counter-culture history and contrarian characters on this musically-scored tour of Camden.

Follow insider George around Camden's iconic music venues, including an award-winning folk arts centre, a punk-inclined pub where Amy Winehouse once pulled pints and more established venues such as the one-time Camden Palace (now Koko). Along the way you'll learn about the poets and punk provocateurs – from Rimbaud to the Ramones – who helped shape the area's always-alternative music scene.
