Where you'll go
You’ll meet artist Stacie McCormick at her dynamic, multi-faceted art initiative in Holland Park, where she’ll give you a private tour of the studio space at Unit 1, which hosts twice-yearly residency programmes for 10 international artists at a time. It’s all part of the Workshop Foundation, which supports emerging artists. Stacie will also introduce you to the current solo resident and guide you through the Radical Residency® exhibition.
What you'll learn
You’ll learn how the Workshop Foundation supports emerging artists and have in-depth discussions with the artists about their current projects. After touring the studio space, you’ll head upstairs for a coffee (and a snack) and chat with Stacie about her own artistic process, her preferred mediums and what inspires her. She’ll walk you through the how-tos of growing an art collection (and you’ll get an exclusive 25 per cent off her own works, if you’d like to start your own stash on the spot).
