Luxury holidays in Bình Thuan Province

Bình Thuan Province lies on Vietnam’s peaceful south-east coast. Inland there are colourful dragon fruit orchards, salt plains and the last vestiges of the Cham kingdom, such as crumbling towers and temples.

When to go

Spring is a good time to visit before things start to swelter in May. The end of the year tends to be rainier too.

Getting there

  • Planes

Fly into Tan Son Nhat International in Ho Chi Minh City and the province is a four-hour drive away. Alternatively land at Cam Ranh International – it’s further away at a five-hour drive, but the coastal scenery along the way is spectacular.
  • Trains

The North-South railway runs from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh, and one of the stops is at Bình Thuận station, so this makes an easy diversion on your epic cross-country journey.
  • Automobiles

Vietnam’s wilder parts don’t make for easy driving, but luckily, all hire cars come with a driver, so you won’t have to navigate them yourself. Just sit back and watch the world go beautifully by.
