Luxury holidays in Bình Thuan Province
Bình Thuan Province lies on Vietnam’s peaceful south-east coast. Inland there are colourful dragon fruit orchards, salt plains and the last vestiges of the Cham kingdom, such as crumbling towers and temples.
When to go
Spring is a good time to visit before things start to swelter in May. The end of the year tends to be rainier too.
PlanesFly into Tan Son Nhat International in Ho Chi Minh City and the province is a four-hour drive away. Alternatively land at Cam Ranh International – it’s further away at a five-hour drive, but the coastal scenery along the way is spectacular.
TrainsThe North-South railway runs from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh, and one of the stops is at Bình Thuận station, so this makes an easy diversion on your epic cross-country journey.
AutomobilesVietnam’s wilder parts don’t make for easy driving, but luckily, all hire cars come with a driver, so you won’t have to navigate them yourself. Just sit back and watch the world go beautifully by.
