When to go

To make the most of Plose’s slopes, toboggan runs and board park, arrive in winter, or aim for June to August if you want sun and Alpine meadows.

Getting there

  • Planes

    The nearest airport is Bolzano, a 40-minute drive away; but for more direct connections throughout Europe and beyond, land at Innsbruck, Verona or Munich.

  • Trains

    Bressanone/Brixen train station has direct links to Bolzano, Trento, Innsbruck, and Verona.

  • Automobiles

    If you’re only staying a short time and don’t plan on roaming too far, then you can get by without a car (the old town is pedestrianised anyway), but wheels will be needed for road-tripping in the Dolomites.
