Luxury holidays in Arequipa

When to go

Your best bet is the dry season, between April and December. From January to March, frequent storms mean soggy city-strolling and make Andean adventures are a no-go.

Getting there

  • Planes

From either Lima or Cusco, it’s a short flight to Rodríguez Ballón International Airport, around 10 kilometres from the city centre.
  • Automobiles

Driving in Peru can be something of a pulse-pounding affair. Luckily, Arequipa’s strollable streets make skipping the rental car a no-brainer.
