  • To reach Koh Samui, take a direct flight to Bangkok; from there, hop on a one-hour flight to the island. Those with strong sea legs may be happier flying to Chumphon Airport from Bangkok and then catching a three-hour ferry across the Gulf of Thailand to the island’s northern Pralarn Pier.
