  • Rustically styled, the villa has a charming exterior with stone walls, wooden shutters and a terracotta-tiled roof.
  • The interiors have a more modern, minimalist face, with white walls, limestone floors and furniture made from warm-toned wood. The first-floor rooms still have their wooden-beam ceilings – a nod to the building’s heritage.
  • The lounge, kitchen and dining area are all part of the same open-plan space, giving the ground floor a roomy, free-flowing feel. There’s a wooden dining table with seating for 10, two large sofas and a fireplace; there’s a separate TV room off to the side.
  • The modern kitchen has a central island; a Siemens hob, oven and microwave; a Nespresso coffee machine; and a fridge freezer.

Sleeping arrangements

  • There are three doubles on the first floor and a twin room on the ground floor. All have air-conditioning, simple wooden furniture and white bedlinen; the first-floor rooms also have beamed ceilings.
  • Found on the first floor, the master bedroom is entirely open-plan: a small stone wall acts as divider between the sleeping area and the open rainfall shower in the centre of the room. Twin sinks and a small mirror are fixed to the shower side of the wall.
  • The sleeping area has a double bed, a freestanding full-length mirror, an armchair and a dressing table. It opens onto the first-floor terrace overlooking the pool and tennis court.
  • Similar in style and layout, the second master has a double bed, wooden dressing table, full-length mirror, cream sofa and a Bose IPod dock.
  • Bedroom 3 has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
  • Bedroom 4, the twin room, is on the ground floor, giving it direct access to the garden.

  • Sat just beyond the covered terrace, the 16-metre mosaic-tiled pool is surrounded by wooden decking on three sides and a neatly-planted border on the fourth.
  • The decked area holds eight sun loungers, two parasols, a wooden dining table and a day-bed.
  • It’s 1.95 metres at the deep end, 0.95 metres at the shallow end.
  • Unheated.

  • The villa sits on a country estate that totals around 16,000sq m. The area immediately around the house is covered in lawns and planted with palms and shrubs. The rest of the land has a more wild feel, particularly the hill behind the house, which is covered in evergreen oaks.
  • Accessed directly from the living area, the large covered terrace has a rustic look with a wooden beamed ceiling and stone support pillars. There’s an alfresco dining area and several sofas.
  • There’s an all weather tennis court at the front of the house, just across from the pool.
  • Plenty of outdoor parking space.

  • The villa is a two-minute drive from Pollença, a charming town in the north of Mallorca.
  • Palma de Mallorca is the closest airport, around 45 minutes by car. There are regular flights from larger UK and European airports, particularly during the summer months. Flights and transfers can be arranged with the Smith24 team; call anytime, day or night.
  • The closest beach is Cala Sant Vicenç, a 15-minute drive.
