Between the suntrap terraces, pergola-shaded sofas and manicured lawn, you won’t know where to settle in for some sea-gazing – so take a dip in the palm-fringed pool while you deliberate. Airy interiors have a farmhouse feel on a stately scale: cosy cream and terracotta hues, exposed beams and traditional tilework, with shuttered French doors flooding each room with sun and sea air. Floor-to-ceiling glass links the kitchen with an alfresco dining area, and the separate guesthouse has an orange-tree-dotted patio that was made for leisurely café con leche-sipping.
