On an Appenine-view hilltop, Castello di Reschio Bell’Aria is part of the expansive namesake estate, a set of carefully restored properties on the Tuscany-Umbria border. The six-bedroom farmhouse has plenty of period features – beamed ceilings, fireplaces – along with some more modern details (hanging lamps, stand-mounted sinks); even the bunk beds are stylish. Outside, the grounds have a plethora of places to hide out, whether you choose the loggia by the pool, the two hammocks or swing, the alfresco fireplace or the shaded outdoor dining area. There’s even a sunset-ready spot for sipping your sundowners…

  • The one in the south side has a juliet balcony, an adjoining child’s room and a walk-in wardrobe.
  • The separate garden house has a master bedroom with an in-room freestanding bath, an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a separate room with twin beds.
  • There’s one bedroom with a double bed, walk-in wardrobe and direct access to the garden.
