Close to Santa Eulalia on Ibiza’s north-eastern edge, Can Lyra is a converted farmhouse with an interior-designer owner and an impressive array of artworks and artefacts collected from around the world. The peaceful residential neighbourhood and proximity to several beaches makes it ideal for families. There are two pools: a huge one for grown-ups and a mini version for little Smiths. Two of the bedrooms are in a separate guesthouse (handy for sequestering noisier/quieter party members). And if that doesn’t sound wholesome enough, there’s a vegetable patch in the grounds.
