Uxua Alma A Casinha

All white for the night

Palmed off

Set within its own private tropical gardens, A Casinha in Bahia blends traditional Brazilian architecture with local designer Manoel Amorosino’s chic contemporary style. Below tall pitched ceilings and against an all-white backdrop, you’ll find distressed-wood counters in the kitchen, dark wood furnishings in the airy living and dining room, and unique works of art alongside giant stone vases filled with tropical flowers dotted throughout. The bedrooms are equally as chic with four-poster beds draped in flowing white linens that billow in the breeze when you slide open the glass doors. Stepping out, the private terrace has several sun-kissed spots for leisurely afternoons outdoors, ample alfresco dining space and a secluded shower surrounded by large palms and vibrantly-coloured flowers – fresh as a heliconia.
