Born and raised in Los Angeles, I studied fashion at university before embarking on a five-year marketing career that revolved around fashion and lifestyle brands, including our beloved Olivia von Halle. I then took a year off to immerse myself in travel, visiting meerkat cafes in Seoul, sunset-gazing in Santorini and hiking in British Columbia. At the end of the year, I looped back to the California coast, where I worked in a boutique hotel before joining Mr & Mrs Smith. My favourite thing about being a Smith Travel Specialist is working directly with our members, hearing their stories and making their journeys smoother and more memorable. I also love how Mr & Mrs Smith supports the continued growth of my destination knowledge – the more I can learn about the world the better!

This city stay is just off the main shopping street in Reykjavik. The rooms are cosy but luxe, with plump pillows, Marshall speakers and marble bathrooms. A lovely smell of freshly baked bread wafts in from the attached bakery and the included breakfast – a Continental spread with fresh smoothies, freshly baked croissants and smoked salmon – is a great perk.View Hotel

Steps from the sand, Tower23 has beautiful views of the ocean and pier. Hop on one of the hotel’s free-to-borrow bikes to explore the restaurants and bars dotted along the shoreline, or settle in for sessions at the spa and a cosy dinner in this boutique space.View Hotel
Long flights are brutal on my skin, so I never travel without my Kiehl’s Avocado Eye-Cream. I also try to learn the basic phrases of the countries I travel to – I find a little effort goes a long way.
One of my favorite cities in the US, Boston has charming cobblestone streets, cosy pubs and fresh seafood. It’s lively and easy to navigate and American history enthusiasts can relish a stop at Warren Tavern; this colonial pub near Bunker Hill was a frequent meeting place of the US founding fathers.View Hotels
This small island, populated with a recognizable scattering of bright white buildings and blue roofs, is a holiday favorite for many reasons, not least of all the stunning sunsets, delicious seafood and chance to hike on a volcano and swim in the nearby geothermal waters. Go in shoulder season to avoid the crowds.View Hotels
