Kendall Robertson

Travel Specialist

A nomad at heart, I’ve lived in Argentina, the Czech Republic and a smattering of states across America. I started my travel career in South America, where I made regular stops at some of my all-time favourite properties, including Awasi Atacama, Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa and Galapagos Safari Camp. I’m now Los Angeles-based and taking advantage of visiting the local Mr & Mrs Smith properties as a way to get to know the city. In town for a whirlwind visit? I recommend a stay at the Palihouse Santa Monica, a glamorous lunch at Sunset Tower Hotel and evening drinks at NoMad Los Angeles.

Travel Tips

I always have my favourite SPF-loaded winter-mint lip balm with me – nothing ruins an adventure-packed holiday (and the related selfies) quite like lips chapped from too much sun and wind.

The streets are always humming with activity here – there isn’t a time of day or night when you won’t find plenty of people out eating, drinking and enjoying life.

  • Chilean Patagonia

The Patagonian Steppe – punctuated by the jagged peaks of El Chalten and Torres del Paine – is one of the most beautifully barren and rugged landscapes I’ve ever seen. It really doesn’t get any more awe-inspiring.

There is something magical about the Old Town Square of Prague. Make like a local and head to a beer garden to watch the sun set over the Old Town.

I wish I was...

Snorkelling with the friendly sea lions – they are incredibly inquisitive and playful and love blowing bubbles in your face – in the Galapagos.
