Travel Specialist

After earning degrees in French and Global and International Studies from UC Santa Barbara (and a stint studying at Sciences Politiques Lyon), I started working with Mr & Mrs Smith in our Los Angeles office. After a year I transferred to Singapore, where I’ve been living and working for the last two years. My favourite things about Singapore are the noodles, the weather, Changi Airport (it’s the only airport I know of with a slide and a butterfly garden) and all the amazing boozy brunch spots. I spend a lot of time in Vietnam, and am currently dreaming of holidays in Bhutan and Spain. I love working in a global company and it has been incredible getting to know a whole new region and living in a new country thanks to my job.

    Orpheus Island

This small and very private resort is the only thing on this lush island in the Great Barrier Reef. It’s an amazing spot for snorkeling and scuba diving, and I’d highly recommend a kayak around the island at sunset too.

The phenomenal architecture at this property mirrors nearby Borobudur temple. The traditional song and dance performances at the hotel were a fun way to learn about the local folklore, and the private Borobudur sunrise tour was such a serene way to experience the stunning temple.

A dreamy staycation on Sentosa Island, this relaxing resort is just a hop and a skip away from the CBD. The spa itself is worth a visit, and you’ll want to come hungry for decadent dinners at Knolls restaurant. I love the trio of infinity pools too!

Travel Tips

I cannot get on a long-haul flight without my Olivia Von Halle eye mask and noise-cancelling Bose headphones. Crying babies on a flight? Thank you, next.

  • Ho Chi Minh City

    Photo of room

This vibrant city is my favourite in Vietnam; there’s delicious street food everywhere and mom and pop coffee shops on every corner. I love the old French architecture in District One and always find time to take a stroll down Nguyen Hue Boulevard.

I love this island and always have a great time there, whether I’m at a surf spot in Canggu, on the black sand beaches of Mangos or taking in sunset views in Uluwatu.

  • Melbourne

If I could move to Australia, I’d live in Melbourne. It’s a very cool, artsy, multicultural city. I love how walkable the city centre is and I could spend an afternoon staring at all of the street art on Hosier Lane.
