Jack Boyes

Hotel & Villa Partnerships Executive

After a few years studying languages, I moved to the Middle East to establish a base for travelling around the Arabian Gulf, exploring the villas surrounding Salalah and the dizzying heights of the United Arab Emirates, and soaking up the Levantine buzz of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. Now I’m lucky enough to curate bespoke holidays for our Smith members throughout this part of the world.

    The Chedi Muscat

This soul-soothing stay is my absolute go-to. A meditative, peaceful ambience flows throughout, from its manicured gardens to the private pool overlooking the Gulf of Oman. Plus, the Friday brunch is superb.

    Casa la Siesta

    Photo of room

The first time I visited was with a big group of family and friends; ever since, I’ve had a soft spot for this hotel. While the gorgeous neutral decor, locally-sourced food and panoramic views of the rolling Andalusian hills all add charm to this Spanish hotel, it’s the staff that make Casa La Siesta what it is.

Housed in a former school, Soho House Tel Aviv has a rich local history and flawless design. Start your day with shakshuka and a mint lemonade by the courtyard pool before heading out to explore Jaffa.

There is something about Moroccan architecture that has always captivated me; the traditional riads, beautiful archways, soaring minarets and mazes of alleyways in dimly lit medinas. I can’t wait to explore more of our properties here, from the small and traditional to the gorgeous and grandiose.
