Brooklyn-based singer songwriter Nicole Atkins is known for her mix of traditional vocal styles and introspective lyrics. In high school, Nicole started playing in pick-up bands and performing gigs at local coffeehouses, before working towards a career as a professional musician, collaborating with artists such as AC Newman of the New Pornographers and touring with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Nicole has three albums to her name, and she released her latest, Slow Phaser, on her own label Oh’Mercy Records.
