Luke Johnson, also former chairman of Channel 4 Television Corporation, grabbed our attention with his weekly column on entrepreneurship for the The Financial Times and his business musings in The Sunday Telegraph. An arbiter of what makes great hospitality, Luke took over Pizza Express in the early Nineties and grew the business from 12 owned restaurants to over 250. We are just delighted we managed to find a weekend-shaped window in his busy diary for a stay at a Smith hotel.
