Helen Bagnall lived in New York and Paris before deciding London was her true home. An award-winning screenwriter, she founded Salon London (a series of cultural events, which was voted sixth in GQ's ranking of the 100 Best Things in the World Right Now 2015 – narrowly beating the Taj Mahal) before creating next-gen literary festival Also. Alongside her work as a culture curator for Latitude Festival, Wilderness Festival and Festival No. 6, Helen's days are spent keeping up with the biggest ideas in quantum theory, neuroscience and genetics, so this 'salonista' loves to retreat to an exquisitely put-together hotel.
