David Michon is a busy man. His former roles include editor of Icon magazine, managing editor of Monocle magazine and managing editor at Winkreative agency. Under these titles he launched Monocle24 radio station and often presented on its city-themed show The Urbanist; wrote books, travel guides and articles aplenty; and laid out editorial strategies for clients such as the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung and Toronto’s Union Pearson Express train. He recently published a book of essays on the built environment, consulted on Peabody’s largest urban-regeneration project and released a podcast focused on themes of design. And he's contributed to Vogue Italia and The Gourmand, and was a judge on the National Magazine Awards. Plus, in his spare time, we've sent him on hotel-reviewing missions…
