Double oh yes

Crown of the port

Luxury stay Villa Infinitum may make you feel like a certain secret agent; with 180-degree views of Port d’Andratx and the surrounding hills, this thoroughly modern, high-tech hideaway would certainly get gadget-whizz Q’s stamp of approval: pretty much everything within can be digitally controlled. The roof terrace is set for sunbathing; after dark it’s a dramatic spot for leisurely evening meals, and sipping cocktails of the shaken-or-stirred varieties accompanied by your chosen Bond girl (or guy). Three pools – the first infinity with a view, the second a rooftop plunge number, the third indoors with a continuous lap setting – a sauna and a gym will keep you in top form for your next mission… or, emerging from the sea in a pair of bijou swimming trunks.

First Glance

  • In between the living area and the kitchen, there’s a dining area with a large, reclaimed-wood table and modern, white Eiffel chairs; the table seats up to 10 guests; it sits next to the floor-to-ceiling windows so there’s a side of Port d’Andratx views with every meal.
  • Leading off from the open-plan living area is a fully-equipped kitchen. Beyond its original stacked-stone wall the kitchen is modern, with sleek appliances, a large central island, and even a conveniently wine-bottle-sized drawer in the refrigerator.
