Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith and all of the little Smith children will find something to adore at Meda Gedara (spoiler alert: there’s a waterslide). On the unspoilt south coast of Sri Lanka in a small beach village, the villa’s surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, historic landmarks – including a Unesco World Heritage Site – and a vibrant local community. Though it exudes the charms of a bygone era, Meda Gedara has all of the modern luxuries you’d expect, and is crisply decorated in beautiful dark woods with white walls and intricate tiling throughout. Within the considerable footprint of the villa and its grounds, you’ll find an infinity pool, the aforementioned waterslide, a wild sandy beach and a yoga pavilion, ready to make you all deliriously happy.
