Our favourite rooms
Styled with honey-hued built-in cabinets, custom platform beds and leather accents, all the rooms are reminiscent of cabins on a luxury ocean liner. And, like any seafaring voyage, we’re on the lookout for land – in this case, leafy Central Park. For bird’s-eye views of Manhattan’s largest patch of green, book a Viceroy Park View room (with a buttery leather-cushioned window seat) or, splurge for a spacious Viceroy Park Suite with a clubby seating area separate from the bedroom.
No need to lug heavy hardcovers with you. You’ll find a hand-selected stack of books about art, design and local history filed on the shelves in every room.
The hotel is completely non-smoking. Several rooms are adapted to accommodate mobility-impaired guests.
Pups under 25lbs are welcome for $100 per stay. Please notify the hotel when you make your reservation and Fido will have bedding, food and water bowls awaiting his arrival. See more pet-friendly hotels in New York.
Welcome. Cots are not available, but a good option for families is the Viceroy Deluxe Double room that can be connected to the King Suite.
Viceroy New York has several eco-conscious initiatives in place. Guests may request a folio of local listings for eco-friendly restaurants, services and businesses, and linen and towel reuse program is offered in every room. Eco-friendly practices such as the use of green cleaning products, low-flow water fixtures, drip-irrigation for flowers and trees, run-off filters for the parking garage and extensive recycling programs are all in place. Also, the hotel has adopted a Green Purchasing policy, and makes it a point to buy sustainable, eco-friendly products and food from local sources whenever possible.
