The hotel has three suites: Speedway, Abbot Kinney and Simpson. Simpson and Abbot Kinney have fully-equipped kitchenettes with a fridge, microwave and hob, and Speedway has an oven, microwave and sink. All suites have air-conditioning, an iPod dock, tea- and coffee-making kit and Aesop bath products.
There’s plenty of space in the 650sq ft Speedway suite, which has a small terrace with views of the beach. Inside, there’s a living room with a sofa bed which can sleep two, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and an ensuite with a walk-in shower.
The focal points of the generously sized, Abbot Kinney suite (700sq ft) are the large, black-stone fireplace in the centre of the living room and the sprawling deck with ocean views. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and there’s a shower over a vintage clawfoot bath tub in the ensuite bathroom.
More secluded than the other suites, Simpson (700sq ft) has its own wraparound deck with chaises and ocean views. The living room is kitted-out with modern furnishings, a sofa, a dining area and a flatscreen TV. This is the only room in the hotel to have a king-size bed and the ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower.
