The Lygon Arms

Each is unique and has its own character; all have a king-size bed topped with a Devon made mattress and an ensuite bathroom with either an over-bath shower or a walk-in shower. Brimming with the hotel’s historic nature, this suite housed one of its most eminent guests, King Charles I, in 1694 one night before a battle in the English Civil War. To mark this occasion a coat of arms hangs over the suite’s fireplace.
