These 30sq m rooms are spread out over the mountain ridge a short distance from the main building. Each has a private garden with lounge chairs, dramatic views of the Himalayan peaks through floor-to-ceiling glass windows and are decorated in a mixture of neutral linens, wooden floors and kettle-topped log burners. The ensuite bathroom – behind a bamboo wall at the back of the chalet – is lined in kadappa stone and has a walk-in monsoon shower and Ayca bath products. There’s also free bottled water, a tea- and coffee-making kit, and a black-out curtain – though you might not want to miss the views…
