Splendens Pavilion Lodges

  • 2guests
Beckford’s two adults-only, split-level lodges stand on the site of the Fonthill Estate’s original 19th-century guest accommodation, where Byron, Nelson and Turner once stayed the night (but not together). The lodges are a fifteen-minute stroll from the main hotel, so you can survey pristine views of Wiltshire countryside and Fonthill Lake from the roll-top bath in the mezzanine bedroom (there’s also a shower in the ensuite). Downstairs, a rustic-style living area and kitchen has a wood-burning stove alongside the mod cons (which include Smart TV, internet radio and WiFi). Each of the two lodges sleeps two, Guests should note that, because of the nearby stud farm, pets have to stay at home.
