Hotel restaurant
Pleased to make your acquaintance, Mr Porter… This handsome restaurant has chocoltae leather banquetes and large circular lamps hanging overhead. You'll see the star dish – choice cuts of steak – hanging to dry-age as you walk in, and aside from the juicy mignons, fillets and New York strips, there's racks of grilled lamb, osso bucco and buttery lobster. Plus, some tempting small plates (beef tartare with caviar, prawn falafel, roasted cauliflower) to start proceedings.
Hotel bar
Mr Porter has a striking 360-degree marble-topped bar, from which they serve cocktails such as the Maracuja Mule with gin, orange oil, honey syrup and passionfruit, or the Sinner with green-tea cordial, tequila and grapefruit juice. The banquettes there are some of the comfiest seats in the house too. And, for drinks with a view – of Gaudí’s Casa Milà and La Sagrada Familia, that is – head to the rooftop for chilled wines, classic cocktails and mezcal shots in the sunshine.
Last orders
2am for the bar during the week, and 3am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Room service
24 hours; there's a dedicated room service menu which includes sandwiches and salads.
