Shakti Ladakh Village Experience

Shakti’s lodges (all around 12sq m in size) are located within villages in Ladakh; each is cosy and furnished in authentic Himalayan style, with hand-crafted furnishings, woollen blankets from Kashmir and Kumaon and locally crafted copper pots and brasses. All bedrooms, except those in Shakti Stok, have an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, hot water and SOS bath products. Shakti Nimoo, Shakti Egoo and Shakti Indus all have three bedrooms; Shakt Likhir has two bedrooms; Shakti Stok’s three bedrooms share two bathrooms; and Shakti River has four bedrooms. Some of the houses have balconies; all have views of the mountains and countryside. All houses have a kitchenette, a working fireplace and tea- and coffee-making facilities and free bottled water.
