Should you need to cancel your stay, as long as you do so before the hotel's cancellation policy comes into effect, this deposit will be refunded in full. Royal Malewane requires a further deposit of 25% of the booking total, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due prior to arrival. This spacious thatch-roofed suite, decorated with dark-wood furnishings, comes with a king-size four-poster bed draped in white linens, a seating area, a private deck with a plunge pool and seating area with a fireplace. The ensuite has a Victorian bath tub, walk-in shower, twin sinks, access to the private deck and an outdoor shower. One room also has twin beds on request. Africa House

This spacious standalone villa is set away from the main lodge and decorated with antiques, silk furnishings and Persian rugs. There’s a large, open-plan living room with leather sofas, armchairs and hanging lanterns, a long dining table and a fully equipped kitchen staffed by a private chef. Each of the six bedrooms has a carved four-poster bed, a private deck with an alfresco shower and an ensuite bathroom with a large Victorian-style bath tub and a walk-in shower. The house also has a central courtyard and a sunlounger dotted terrace with an infinity pool that looks out over the bush. All rooms are air-conditioned and there’s an extra room for your private guide, nanny, pilot or photographer.
