Situated on the top floor of the 16th-century Palazzo Ruspoli, this 600sq ft apartment has a beautiful roof garden with a sitting area overlooking panoramic views of Rome's skyline, dotted with pretty terracotta pots of lavender. The entrance to the suite is via a spiral staircase that leads to an elegant sitting room, which opens out to the spacious, airy terrace. The bedroom, leading off from the living room, has low ceilings, a king-size bed (twin beds on request); there's a bathroom with a bath tub and walk-in shower.

A beautifully restored apartment within a classic Roman palazzo, this comes with massive wooden doors and an elegant arcade of Doric columns at the entrance. A grand marble staircase, lined with antique marble busts of Roman emperors, leads up to the apartment, where you'll find two large reception rooms and a large master bedroom – complete with a large canopied bed draped with beautiful fabrics and silks. One of the six huge oil paintings in the bedroom forms the headboard, while another painting opens to reveal the marble bathroom. The apartment also has a fully equipped kitchenette.

Just over 600sq ft in size, this apartment has a lavender-scented roof garden overlooking the bustling Via Condotti and beyond over Rome. There's a large deck with a sitting area, dotted with pretty terracotta pots. Guests access the suite via a spiral staircase leading to a sitting room; the main bedroom leads off from there, with a king-size bed (twins available on request), and there’s a bathroom with a bath tub and walk-in shower. A petite second bedroom – outfitted in blue and white, with an array of Chinese vases – has a double bed set in an alcove and an ensuite with a bath tub.

Housed in the grand, 16th-century Palazzo Ruspoli, the entrance to this suite is dramatic with a Doric columns, a sweeping marble staircase and busts of Roman emperors. Through huge wooden doors there are two large reception rooms and a master bedroom, the centrepiece of which is a large canopied bed dressed in silks with a sizeable original oil painting at the head (five more are hug on the walls, and one is the semi-secret door to a marble ensuite). There's a fully equipped kitchenette too. Up a small flight of stairs is the second bedroom, the Blue Room, has a Delftware palette, with plentiful china vases and pots, a double bed, bookshelf with art tomes and elegant antiques, and it has a second bathroom with a bath tub.
